What If There is No School Tomorrow or Next Week?

You have three items for homework since I might not see you until sometime next week:
1) Movie Time   2) Lesson 10    3)Circle Graphs

I would do Movie Time tonight and save the other two for the days that I do not see you. In the event that we do meet tomorrow, I will only check to see if you completed Movie Time.

Consumer Applications

Consumer Applications is working with math in everyday life. This week, we will be looking at decimals and using them in all operations (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiply). Most of the examples we look at will usually put the student as the "consumer" buying items at a particular cost and going from there. We will have an assessment on Friday (1/15/16) covering decimals and all operations; mostly in the format of word problems.

Fibonacci Sequence

Fibonacci created this great little sequence by starting with 0,1 and adding the last two terms to create the next term. The first eight terms are: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13
