Mean as a Balance Point videos

READ BELOW THEN WATCH ALL VIDEOS!
Thought you might like some videos that help explain the Mean and why it is referred to as a Balance Point. Please watch all three videos and write down the name of the triangle that balances the values on the number line. If you are able to memorize it, I will give you 10 tiger tokens tomorrow. I'll give you a hint, it starts with the letter "F" and ends with the letter "M". Good Luck!

The Mysterious Coordinate Plane

Today you will visit several sites and learn about the coordinate plane and how to graph (plot) on this mysterious and fascinating plane. Your job is simple, follow the directions numbered below. Good luck and do not answer questions until you have watched all 3 videos.

1. Visit the following site and watch video; this was homework from Thursday last week in case you missed it. If you have already watched it, you do not need to watch it again and go to #2:

Graphing Points

4. Now that you have watched the videos, answer the 
questions #1 - 5 that Mr. Trapp has given you using
complete sentences.

5. Take a city tour and move around a coordinate plane. This is a Gizmo activity and you will only be given 5 minutes to use this site. Once your time is over, please go to #6.

8. Pick the location of the mole before he gets you.

10. You may go back and visit any of the games that you have played today.

11. Last 20 minutes of class, you may go on Prodigy or any site found on Google Classroom ( NO COOL MATH!)
