Preparing for Fractions, Decimals, and Percents

This week, you will be getting ready to deal and have fun with decimals, fractions, and percents (F, D, %). In order to do so, we will be going over long division, simplifying/reducing fractions, equivalent fractions, and improper fractions. We will cover these items until Friday, and don't be shocked if you see a small mini quiz on these concepts to start your day on Friday.

Today, please follow do the following:
1) Watch the video by clicking below:
       Long Division

2) After watching the video on long division, you may click the following site and play some games dealing with division:

       Drag Race Division

                        and 

Snork's Long Division (YEEEEHAW!)

3) You may go to Reflex Math


4)  Last 25 minutes of class, we will shut down the laptops and I will pass out a handout to you. 

a)Read the handout given to you and read, 
    What is Division?

b) On the backside of the paper, solve and finish # 1 - 15
